What does editing with feedback mean?

If you’re taking a stab at your own copy or you need to up your website game, I provide an editing service WITH feedback.

This doesn’t just involve fixing up grammar and spelling. It’s a deep dive into the persuasiveness of your writing. It could involve reordering your content, adding content that enhances your authority or trust factor, optimising the entire piece for search engines, improving the voice for readability… and so much more.

Then, I’ll provide feedback on why I’ve made the edits so you can improve for next time.

What is SEO and can you do it?

SEO = search engine optimisation. It means getting your pages on the Google podium – on the first page of search results. That translates into more eyeballs on your page.

I grew up (professionally) in a digital marketing agency that specialised in SEO and have continued my education since coz #perfectionist. There are wayyyyy too many SEO factors to talk about here but all you need to know is that I weave the good stuff into your website pages to boost your chances of a prized top-ten position.

But can I trust you?

I can’t speak to that (coz saying ‘you can trust me’ sounds mildly serial killer-esque). But I’ll let my creds speak for themselves. I’ve been in the copywriting game for 8+ years and have written or edited blog posts, sales pages, website copy, ebooks, and epic content pieces for hundreds of clients.

What’s the process?

The first step is to join the waitlist. When some availability opens up, I’ll reach out to see if you’re ready to start working together and send you a Q+A so I can get to know your brand. If necessary, we’ll book a Zoom call to discuss the work further.

Once you’ve signed the Service Agreement and paid a deposit invoice, your work will be booked in. I may send you a more in-depth brief to allow me to capture your brand perfectly. Then … we get to work!

When will I get the goods?

I’m a stickler for deadlines. The Service Agreement will outline due dates and barring a catastrophe, you’ll get the first drafts on or before D-Day!

What if the work just isn’t quite there yet?

I strongly encourage all my clients to participate in the process and make the work their own. The best results come from a collaborative effort so I can put your constructive feedback into force in the next draft.

What’s your phone number?

Wouldn’t you like to know!? My greatest pride is in my ability to dive deep into my projects without distraction. That means email > phone.

I don’t have a business phone but my services include Zoom calls and access to Instagram DMs.

Where are you based?

Part of the business ownership dream has been to carve a career that serves my dream of living a nomadic lifestyle.

I’m based in Melbourne (Australia) but I’m location independent, which means I operate from anywhere in the world. If you don’t hear from me immediately, please be patient. I may just be tucked up in bed while you’re starting your day! I aim to answer all emails within 48 hours.
